Congress CPD Event - July 2024

On 2nd July 2024, we held our BVR 2024 Congress at the Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel.

With dedicated vet and nurse streams, a certification of completion, plus a 2-course hot and cold buffet lunch, it’s an opportunity that could not to be missed.

Congress CPD Event - May 2023

On 17th May 2023, at the stunning location of Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel, we were very excited to have a visiting speaker join our event, Birgitt Rimell - Clinical Nurse Specialist, Infection Prevention at H&R Healthcare Ltd. Birgitt Rimell discussed the importance of reducing infection risks in veterinary surgeries. Because of growing concerns worldwide about AMR, the importance of Infection Prevention was the main topic during Birgitt's presentations, helping to create awareness and offer solutions to both Veterinary and Human Clinical Practitioners.

Autumn Lunch & Learn 2022

From August to October Bath Vet Referrals offered lunch and learn CPD events to practices in the South West and South of Wales.

The presenter of our lunch and learn series was Carla Husband BSc (Hons) RVN, she is one of our referral veterinary nurses and she will be presenting on medical nursing and CPR training.

Carla Husband graduated from Bristol University and has worked with us for 2 years at Bath Vet Referrals. She is currently undertaking her Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing specialising in Emergency and Critical Care.
