Josh grew up not far from our Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital in the small city of Wells. After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2015 he spent just over a year and a half in a busy first opinion practice in Dorset before subsequently moving back to his home city. He has recently achieved his post graduate certificate in small animal medicine and joined us in April 2021. Clinically he has a particular interest in cardiology, especially cardiac scans and E.C.Gs, and is looking to develop these skills further over the next few years.
Outside of work, a recently re-homed crossbreed dog (Nala aka Noodle) and rescue cat (Beanie) keep Josh busy but when time allows his favourite recreational activities include golfing (a sport he has played from around the age of 12), keeping fit by running and de-stressing in the gym. He has recently developed a passion for both craft beer and coffee with 3 different coffee filter techniques available to wake him up in the mornings!
